It works fully, no problems at all
Native version works just fine

Works perfectly out of the box, however I'd recommend plugging the Steamdeck to a monitor and use kb+mouse for a better experience.
TDP, FPS and GPU capped to achieve longer battery time
Works flawlessly out of the box

Locked to 24 FPS
Old game so i guess no controller support.
Does not work with suggested proton version. Changing to proton 9 works.

Works perfectly, no tinkering needed
^^^. intel gpu and cpu on Linux Mint

I was able to start the game only after turning on Proton Experimental

Flickering interface.
Flickering was resolved when switching to x11 from Wayland.
The game Just Works™
Smooth as butter, no tweaks needed!

- Frame Limit: 30
- Half Rate Shading: On
- Thermal Power (TDP) Limit: On
- Watts: 7
- Manual GPU Clock Control: 200
The font size can be increased on the game options
Installed from Amazon and launched as a Non-Steam Game. Proton 7.0-6 is mandatory

Had to install oalinst.exe within the prefix before it would launch. This can be found in the `__redist` folder.
Swapped trackpad zoom direction. Increased speed to 140%.
Adjust font size in options menu
Hiçbir sorun yok

Install Amazon version through Heroic, then manually add as non-steam game through steam, bypassing Heroic for launch, force proton 7.0.6
Amazon version can install through Heroic but will crash at launch after installing OpenAL. I got it to work by manually adding the .EXE as a non-Steam game through Steam to bypass Heroic and forcing proton 7.0.6 under compatibility.
I've played it last December on the Deck, but going back to it now it no longer runs. I've tried all sorts of things, but no luck. I couldn't even find an error message.

With Ubuntu Wayland I just used the proton layer for compatibility and it all worked fine.
Works great with the proton compatibility layer on Ubuntu running Wayland.
Native version with a small issue. must have "libssl.so.1.0.0" in /usr/lib/ directory before running
SDL_VIDEODRIVER=x11 %command%

One of the best old-school crpgs in the world, perfectly playble on the deck, extremely long battery life
The game is hardcapped at 30 fps but i still set the Deck's framerate limit to 30 fps, i don't know if this helps with battery life. Set TDP to 5 Watts for around 7 hours of battery life.
One can increase the font size of the text, i recommend it to a minimum of additional 40% to be able to read the conversations, scrolls, equipment descriptions etc. I personally play on story mode, because real time with pause games are quite complicated to play with the trackpad in my opinion, the game is fully enjoyable this way, plus there are a dozen options to when to have the game auto-pause.

Would press play and wouldn't run, just exit back and offer to let me click play again.
Forced the game's SDL to use XWayland instead of Wayland by setting the Launch Options to: env SDL_VIDEODRIVER=x11 %command%
Native version doesn't launch at all, proton gets to menu but crashes after few seconds in-game.
Tried many different versions of proton, game would crash instantly when trying to load cloud save from windows version. Starting new game works, but game crashes all the same after a few seconds.

The game crashed at start. I solved the issue by unchecking steam overlay option: Right click on the game in the library -> Properties -> General -> uncheck "Enable the Steam overlay while in game"
works perfectly after a configuration trick

Not launching
Used the left trackpad as a character selector with an alt mode of hotboar action.
It was at times difficult to read because of how small the text is, but was not too much of a strain.
Played entirely on the Steam Deck. Took some tweaking of controls to get just right, but once that was done I was able to enjoy. I did play on "Story" mode though due to switching between characters and the hotbar not being the most ideal. Outside of that it was a near flawless experience.
Game works perfectly fine
Save files and custom portraits are located in an awkward spot, but the game works flawlessly out of the box. Pretty much as good as it gets.
After suspending the game no audio would play until I restarted the game or travelled to another area

(GOG version) Works good
Played GOG version with Proton 7.0-1.
Rodou perfeitamente
Native game, click and play. Working great !
Could not load a saved game from native Linux version on Windows system. But it's not a big problem for me. I play primary on Linux.
Runs out of the box
Works Perfectly
Had to use Proton as the Native version stopped unlocking achievements on my save. Works flawlessly under Proton. V2.5 of the game was used.
