Steam Performace Tab: only turned on Allow Tearing and 12 TDP. In game, turned off vsync, the rest was all at max. I did use a reshader mod with the Decky plugin LetMeReshade. At the end of chapter 1 the cutscene is broken. All cutscenes before did work. Tried default proton and experimental. Using Proton GE 9-16 fixed that.
Works perfectly OOTB with proton experimental. Cutscenes works. Finished the game without any bugs.
Pre-renered videos do not play by default
Starting a new game, the initial cutscene does not display properly. Switching to other proton versions(including GE) results in either an endless loading screen or the game failing to start.
I shouldn't have to do anything more with a game already labeled as "verified".
The stutter when opening doors or shooting your weapon is really bad. This is a shame because the game runs well otherwise.

Unexpected stutter/frame drops when opening doors or firing weapon.
This game appears to have run without stutter at some point (I assume an earlier version of Proton). But as it stands, the stutter/frame drops when opening doors or firing your weapon is quite bad. This game probably should not be makred as "Verified" on Steam given these problems on the Deck.
Set in-game framerate cap to 60
For anyone wanting to use the RERevFix mod to increase the FOV, you'll have to rename it's xinput1_3.dll to msacm32.dll and include it in the launch options with...
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="msacm32=n,b" %command%
Otherwise the xinput1_3.dll will interfere with Steam input and not recognize the controls.
The game itself is running awesome out of the box, but you will miss most of the story, because the missing Windows Media Player 11
Tried to install wmp11, but failed
The videos stop playing around Episode 6
According to other reports here, to enable the movies in the game, you need to switch to Proton 5.0-10 and install wmp11 with protontricks. Unfortunatelly the installation of wmp11 fails on Steam Deck, so you are not able to see any movie starting from Episode 6
The game runs awesome out of the box. Resolution is correct, shows correct buttons in tooltips and the default controls profile works nice.
Works perfectly with no issues aside from minor shader cache stutter (using a non steam version of the game) I finished the entire campaign.
No tinkering needed it ran flawlessly
