Runs smooth right out of the box. Graphics settings were "Fullscreen", "1280x800", "Shadow Quality: Ultra", "Anti Aliasing: 4x", "Effects Quality: High", "VSync: Disabled". Maybe setting all of them to the max might have worked too, but I was happy with these settings, so I did not even try.

Did not try game with GE-less Proton.

You should definitely give this one a go! The game looks very good and plays great! By default, the game runs at around 50 fps. Dropping the shadows down one level, I was able to get a stable 60 fps for 99% of the game. There was a single place where the frame rate dropped to 45-50 even with this change: during the final part of ACT IV. Since it didn't require any fast inputs, I left the settings as they were.
Since the game is pretty short, I haven't checked for how long you can play it on battery.
For reference, I'll list the graphics settings that I had, in case they ever change:
- Fullscreen: Fullscreen
- Resolution: 1280x800
- Shadow Quality: Medium
- Anti Aliasing: 4X
- Effects Quality: High
- Vsync: Disabled

It just works
Works perfectly fine
Just works.
Performance: 5120x2880@~160FPS
Finished without issues
Works perfectly out of the box
To get a close to locked 60fps I drop shadows down to medium, anti-aliasing to 4x and leave v-sync off.
Can be locked to 30fps with aliasing and shadows reduced for longer battery life

Another good game for the Steam Deck for platform lovers
Excellent game, excellent support of this game.
Everything working flawlessly (graphics maxed up).
Overall fine; minor graphic delays
Felt a little laggy/janky in comparison to other games with similar requirements. Very minor, though.
